Autumn Frenzy

We are taking advantage of the nice sunny, WARM days to gather in as much of our fall root crops as we possibly can. We are harvesting, washiing, packing and storing them for the long winter months. Pictured above is our root washer - the veggie crew’s favorite fall tool for both carrots and potatoes. You get a little soggy so running it when it’s warm out is SO much nicer.

Don't let the crazy warm weather fool you - it's time for fall eats and our Cookeville Market is bursting with Autumn goodness - apples, cider, brussel sprouts, pumpkins, freshly harvested baby lettuce, spinach, kale, chard, leeks, cabbages, carrots, beets, winter squash, fresh herbs, garlic and onions.

As always, we will be stocked with our pastured eggs,  grocery staples, local milk, yogurt , cheeses, fresh goodies from Marilyn and a freezer full of our very own pastured meats. Hatchland Ice cream will be back this week (phew!).

Our Farm to Take Out menu this week includes Focaccia, Italian Wedding Soup, Butternut Sage Soup and Polenta with Farm Made Tomato Sauce, Italian Sausage and Fresh Mozzerella.

We have a new batch of carving pumpkins this week and we will be open on Halloween next Thursday  and ready for trick or treaters!

Burger Night is Back! Come by our Cookeville Market on Friday between 4 and 6 and pick up a farm-raised burger with all the fixings! We also have farm-raised Chicken Wings!

Don't forget to make your Thanksgiving turkey reservation! Our pastured birds are a delicious, juicy and beautiful centerpiece for your holiday feast! Reserve yours today. Stop by the market or go to crossmolinafarm.com

The Market is open Wednesday thru Friday 8:30am till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 till 3pm.
