Just Keep Looking at the Baby Cucumbers
Spring is late, the world is a tad stressful and it’s snowing hard right now. But I just found these little babies in our seed house - a reminder that better tasting things, green grass and even summer in Vermont is right around the corner. I invite you to lean into the tasty promise of those little green guys today to get through the grey day ahead.
Come on down to the market this week to shake off those second (or third?) winter blues! We will be restocked with carrots, beets, celeriac, sweet potatoes and cabbages, our very own spinach and a full selection of our pastured meats, treats to tempt us all from Marilyn's Kitchen and a full line up of local cheeses, milk, yogurt and our very own eggs.
We all need a little holiday - right? On Saturday morning from 10-12 we will be hosting a plant your own easter grass activity for the little ones - we will provide soil, a basket and the seed to grow your very own easter grass right in your kitchen. Jonathan will also be making wood fired Matzah for Passover Celebrations and it will be available Saturday Morning. Easter Pre-Orders will be open later this week too - reserve one of our smoked hams or a pie or sweet rolls from Marilyn.
Market Hours: Wednesday - Friday 8:30 a.m till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 a.m till 3pm
