Beginning Again
We spent the past week getting ready for a brand-spanking new season at our market that we hope to be as spectacular as this sunrise Wendell captured on Cookeville Road this weekend on his way to hike Mt. Moosilauke!. We cleaned, planned, restocked, harvested (Truly lettuce in January is a small farm miracle !), and got back into the general swing of things after our long winter’s nap.
We will open again on Wednesday January 22 and be ready to roll with veggies like greens from our greenhouses, carrots, beets, parsnips, potatoes and cabbages, a full selection of our pastured meats - including our specialty sausages, treats to tempt us all from Marilyn's Kitchen and a full line up of local cheeses, milk, yogurt and our very own eggs (lots of them).
The farm kitchen will be serving up warm and cozy farm-to-take out on this cold, cold week - See the nemu below.
Baking Bread and Burger Nights (which will sometimes be Taco Night and Mediterranean Night this season - we all need a little variety -right?) will be back in the coming weeks. Its a wee but too cold for outdoor baking. Folks who read the newsletter will be the first to know!
Market Hours: Wednesday - Friday 8:30 a.m till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 a.m till 3pm
