Feels Like Summer

We have been doing lots of summer stuff this week - planting corn, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, moving animals to new summer pastures and getting ready for pizza night and the first Chelsea Farmer’s Market which is this Friday.

Another sign of summer? Fledgling Farm will be making their annual plant sale visit with loads of veggie, herb and flower starts to start your garden with.  Stop by Thursday- Saturday.

Ready to grill?  Friday and Saturday we will be running a special on our very own bratwurst and ground beef. Marilyn is making her famous burger and hot dog buns.

All week we will stocked with arugula, tatsoi,  baby lettuce and spinach, baby kale, mesclun mix, the first broccolini of the season, super sweet overwintered parsnips, carrots  and beets and fresh radishes, asparagus and rhubarb too.   As always, we will be stocked with grocery staples, local milk, yogurt and cheeses, fresh goodies from Marilyn and a freezer full of our very own pastured meats.

This weekend we are hosting the Waits River Elementary Rock Band and inviting the school community and family and friends of our farm and pizza crew for a teeny tiny pizza night so that we can all get up to speed for the season. We start the main season of Pizza Night  June 1st and are now taking reservations for the first two weeks. Full details about our 2024 season can be found on our website.

Open Wednesday Through Friday 8:30am  till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 till 3pm.
