Pasture Time!

The grass is growing and that means that our pastured animals - the pigs, cattle, sheep and chickens are all moving from their winter housing to the pastures! Driving past the farm you will see us out there moving fences every day to keep the animals moving and the green stuff coming. This ensures that our pastures stay healthy and get the most benefit from our rotational grazing. We are turning sunshine into grass and grass into protein!

The Cookeville Market will be stocked with arugula, tatsoi,  baby lettuce and spinach, baby kale, mesclun mix, the first broccolini of the season, super sweet overwintered parsnips, carrots  and beets and fresh radishes and rhubarb too.  At the end of the week we will have a limited quantity of locally grown asparagus too!  As always, we will be stocked with grocery staples, local milk, yogurt and cheeses, fresh goodies from Marilyn and a freezer full of our very own pastured eggs and meats.

Open Wednesday Through Friday 8:30am  till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 till 3pm.
