We all need a little love - and our Cookeville Market Kitchen will be serving up a sumptuous Valentines Feast on Valentines Day (Friday the 14th) that you can take home and enjoy with your sweetie! Salad Course

Celery Root and Apple Salad with Pomegranate seeds, Spiced Walnuts, and Lemon Honey Vinaigrette

Mixed Green Salad with Carrots, Radish, Garlic and Herb Croutons and Balsamic Dressing

Main Course

(All served with mashed potatoes)

Chicken Marabella: - Chicken breast simmered in white wine, capers and olives

Tempeh Marabella: - Tempeh simmered in white wine, capers and olives 

Beef Bourguignon - Beef braised in red wine and beef stock served with carrots, pearl onions, and local mushrooms

The market will be stocked with, carrots, beets, celeriac, potatoes and cabbages, a full selection of our pastured meats - including our specialty sausages, treats to tempt us all from Marilyn's Kitchen and a full line up of local cheeses, milk, yogurt and our very own eggs. We are taking a break from greens harvesting to let our lettuce and spinach begin to regrow - the longer days this month will help with that and we will be back in action soon. We will have lettuce from another farm - couldn't resist the green stuff at this time of year! 

Our special on Cortland Apples Continues - $4.00 a peck. Straight from the Patch Family Farm in Lebanon, NH they are good eating and good pie apples. Don't we all need a pie?
