Keeping It Warm

That was a fool’s  spring for sure.  It really seemed like it might last - right? We have been stoking the old wood furnace in our propagation house to keep the little baby plants alive until real spring - it feels cozy and hopeful in there even on a raw cold day like today.

Saturday’s cold snap couldn’t touch the warm and wonderful vibe at the Cookeville Coffee house. Thanks to all of you who came out to eat farm raised tacos and burritos and listen to The Rough & Tumble. It was a great night - just exactly what we all needed to carry us out of the winter doldrums and into spring.

This week the market will be stocked with SPINACH from our greenhouses, carrots, beets, celeriac, sweet potatoes and cabbages and a full selection of our pastured meats, treats to tempt us all from Marilyn's Kitchen and a full line up of local cheeses, milk, yogurt and our very own eggs.

And a quick reminder about the new $10 minimum for credit/debit card purchases due to a huge increase in the fees we pay to the processing company. Paying in cash or by check is better all around - no fee means the farm keep more of what you pay for your food and that help us keep our prices down.

Market Hours:  Wednesday - Friday 8:30 a.m till 6pm and Saturday 8:30 a.m till 3pm
