Love Local
Getting out, stopping for a coffee or a treat from Marilyn, stopping to chat about the weather and checking in on your neighbors and the goings on about town help stich us together as a community. When you spend your money locally those dollars do more to build and support local jobs, families and businesses. But mostly, it just feels good. It’s been cold and snowy and it’s sometimes hard to make the extra stop - especially when we want to get back to our cozy house - but stop in. You’ll feel better when you get here. Promise!
Quick reminder that this is a great time to renew your farm share!, The balance on your card never expires. Plus, you can reload with more Crossmolina Cash at any time.
Take advantage of our early bird special! Buy or reload your card at our Cookeville Market before March 1 and pay by cash or check to receive a $5.00 gift certificate for something yummy from our Farm Kitchen!
The market will be stocked with, carrots, beets, celeriac, potatoes and cabbages, a full selection of our pastured meats - including our specialty sausages, treats to tempt us all from Marilyn's Kitchen and a full line up of local cheeses, milk, yogurt and our very own eggs. Sweet potatoes are back in stock too! We are taking a break from greens harvesting to let our lettuce and spinach begin to regrow - the longer days this month will help with that and we will be back in action soon.
Our special on Cortland Apples Continues - $4.00 a peck. Straight from the Patch Family Farm in Lebanon, NH they are good eating and good pie apples. Don't we all need a pie?
