All March - All The Time

March is the most Vermont month. Like the fickle weather,  it swings wildly  from the welcoming warmth and steamy sweetness of a sugarhouse in full swing to the brutal reminder that you “can’t get there from here” when the road opens up and swallows your car. It’s beauty is wild, wonderful and hard won - like staying up all night during a power outage lambing and feeding the fire in the seed house and then getting a front row seat to a fire red sunset while holding a sweet lamb. Priceless and Difficult - something we are lucky enough to have to deal with.

March at the Cookeville Market means the return of spinach, lettuce and carrots from both our farm and other local producers, As always, we will be stocked with grocery staples, local milk, yogurt and cheeses, fresh goodies from Marilyn and a freezer full of our very own pastured meats.

Burger Night continues every Friday this month- stop by after 4 and pick up a freshly grilled burger with all the fixings. We also have honey BBQ or Buffalo Style chicken wings . It's a great way to end the week!
