Lion or Lamb ?

Tess took advantage of the extra day in February to have the second calf of the season - it was a super blustery day but the little fella is doing just fine.

The first days of March have proven to be a wild ride of wind, rain and mud but the warm temps have been great for getting into the greenhouses and getting ready to plant spring greens.

The Cookeville Market will be looking more like spring this week with the return of spinach, lettuce and carrots from both our farm and other local producers, As always, we will be stocked  grocery staples, local milk, yogurt and cheeses, fresh goodies from Marilyn and a freezer full of our very own pastured meats.

Burger Night is back for the month of March - stop by after 4 on Friday and pick up a freshly grilled burger with all the fixings! It's a great way to end the week!

This Friday  from 4 till 6 pm we will be hosting a free tasting of some of our featured local beers AND our new line of gourmet sausages made with our pastured pork - they are so delicious we just have to share them!
