We had a nice long break after the Thanksgiving rush and boy did we need it! Thanks to all of our for a successful turkey and thanksgiving rush and we hope you enjoyed your Crossmolina grown holiday meal as much as we did.
We will be busy these next few weeks buttoning up the farm for winter (which came on all of a sudden - didn’t it?! ) and our Cookeville Market is putting out a warm welcome for winter and holiday plans are in the works…..
Look for fresh wreaths all week from Miller Farm in East Corinth and on Friday and Saturday we will have their Christmas Trees. Come by for burger night on Friday or breakfast and hot cocoa on Saturday and get your Christmas Tree in delicious style!
December brings fresh greens from our greenhouses, roots of all kinds - carrots, beets, radishes, sweet potatoes. parsnips and our amazing array of potato varieties for mashing, baking, frying and whatever recipe you can think of.
As always we will be stocked with treats from Marilyn's Kitchen, local dairy, cheeses, ice cream, grocery staples and a freezer full of our very own pastured meats - we have merquez style lamb sausage to try this week and our Highland Beef is back in stock.
Burger Night is every Friday between 4 and 6. Pick up a farm-raised burger with all the fixings! We also have farm-raised, smoked Chicken Wings.
Christmas pre orders from our Farm Kitchen and Marilyn to make your holiday easy and delicious will be available later this week - stay tuned!
The Market is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 till 6:00 and on Saturday from 8:30 till 3:00.
